Joel Yow is a seasoned professional in the field of architecture and design, currently serving as the Director of Digital Products at CannonDesign since March 2024. As a Co-Founder of linear A since July 2018, Joel has contributed to innovative design solutions. Previous experience includes roles at HDR, where Joel held various positions from Computational Designer to Computational Design Principal and Associate from May 2011 to July 2018. Earlier in the career, Joel worked as a Graphic and Industrial Designer at Complete Design & Packaging and gained research experience at the Daylighting and Energy Performance Laboratory, utilizing advanced simulation software. Joel began the academic journey at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, earning a Bachelor of Architecture degree and working as a Teaching Assistant in the Materials Lab.
