Head of Delivery at IntellectEU

Bruno Almeida has accumulated extensive work experience in various roles and industries throughout their career. From 2017, they served as the Head of Delivery at IntellectEU, where they led and managed projects in blockchain and DLT technologies. In their role, Bruno was responsible for gathering technical requirements, creating functional specifications, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget and customer expectations. Bruno also played a key role in coordinating resource allocation and motivating their team to achieve high performance. Prior to that, Bruno worked at Instituto Pedro Nunes from 2010 to 2017, taking on multiple roles such as Project Manager/Analyst, Software Developer/Analyst, and Researcher - Software Engineer. In these roles, they successfully managed and coordinated national and European projects across different areas, including cloud computing, software-as-a-service solutions, internet-of-things, and information systems. Bruno's expertise also encompassed requirements specification, architecture design, development, and delivery of software systems. Additionally, they were involved in training grant-holders and interns, as well as conducting research and development projects. Most recently, Bruno has taken on a role as a Visiting Professor at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where they share their knowledge and hands-on experience with students, particularly focusing on the blockchain world. Overall, Bruno Almeida's work experience demonstrates their proficiency in project management, technical analysis, and software development, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and promoting growth and sustainability.

Bruno Almeida's education history shows that they obtained their MSc degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra, starting in 2009 and ending in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their BSc degree in Computer Science at the same university, starting in 2004 and finishing in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Bruno has also obtained several certifications related to blockchain technology. In November 2017, they acquired the IBM Blockchain Essentials and IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer certifications from IBM. Bruno further enhanced their knowledge of blockchain by completing the courses "LFS170x: Blockchain: Understanding Its Uses and Implications" and "LFS171x: Blockchain for Business - An Introduction to Hyperledger Technologies" offered by The Linux Foundation in February 2019 and October 2017 respectively.
