Diego Martirani has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Diego began their career in 2006 as a Maintenance Technician at Micron Technology, where they worked until 2010. During this time, they gained experience in maintenance tasks. From 2010 to 2011, they served as a Senior Technician at the same company, taking ownership of the implanter dosimetry process control and surface photo-voltage metrology process.
In 2011, Diego transitioned to the role of a Process Engineer at Micron Technology. Diego was responsible for introducing and managing DSLR and BSI CMOS imager sensor processes. Diego also served as the equipment owner for Axcelis High Current implanters.
Diego joined LFoundry in 2013 as a Process Engineer 2. In this role, they managed the ion implantation process and was responsible for the mixed-signal CMOS process technology and CIS products. Diego then advanced to the position of Senior Process Engineer, handling the introduction and management of CMOS imager and logic device implantation processes.
Currently, Diego is a Senior Process Development Engineer at LFoundry, where they serve as an process engineer for the research and development department. Diego specializes in defining and characterizing ion implantation processes for CIS devices in 110nm/90nm technology, SiPM, and Powermos. Additionally, they are involved in risk analysis activities.
Diego Martirani has a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, which they obtained from Università degli Studi Niccolò Cusano in the years 2014-2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Università degli studi Roma TRE from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, Diego has obtained several certifications, including a short course on Topics in Advanced IC processing from Semitracks Inc. in April 2014, Deutsch A1 (CEFR) from Inlingua in February 2014, and a certification in Solar Energy from edX in September 2013. Diego also holds Honor Code Certificates for Explore Statistics with R and Introduction to Graphene Science and Technology, both obtained from edX.
