Bruna Goncalves is a Data Scientist at Leve Saúde since October 2023, with extensive experience in data science and research. From September 2018 to August 2022, Bruna served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Norfolk State University, developing LSTM-based Neural Network models for cardiac simulations and presenting findings at the 2022 Annual Modeling and Simulation Conference in Medicine. Additional roles included tutoring undergraduate students in STEAM and mentoring a Magnetic Resonance Coupling research team. Bruna also worked at Jefferson Lab, applying a Variational Autoencoders model for data analysis in nuclear physics, and participated in an Applied Data Science Bootcamp at Netflix, achieving 88% accuracy in heart disease prediction. Bruna’s education includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, complemented by a minor in Mathematics, both obtained from Norfolk State University.
