Matthew Wedge is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and insurance management. Currently serving as Vice President of Treasury and Insurance at Leonardo since July 2003, Matthew is responsible for managing relationships between business units and banking partners, alongside overseeing day-to-day cash management to optimize interest earnings and minimize charges. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions including Finance Manager at Leonardo, where financial performance of major projects was managed, and Management Accountant at BAE Systems, focusing on producing and consolidating management accounts. Earlier experience includes serving as a Finance Analyst at First Data International, where capital investment opportunities were analyzed. Matthew holds an FCCA degree from Anglia Ruskin University and a BA (HONS) in Business Studies from Middlesex University.
