Melanie Treude has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. In 2012, they started working at RTL Interactive GmbH, where they were a Business Partnerships Manager and later became a Product Manager Mobile. In 2013, they joined Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland as a Media Researcher for Online/Mobile Platforms. In 2015, they worked as a Market Research Analyst at both rheingold institut and concept m research + consulting GmbH. Melanie then transitioned into Product Management, starting as a Junior Product Manager Mobile at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal in 2015 and later becoming a Product Manager Mobile in 2016. Melanie joined FOCUS Online in 2017 as a Product Manager and in 2018, they co-founded Legalbird and served as a Co-Founder & Product Owner.

Melanie Treude completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Market- and Media Research from Cologne University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism and Media Communication from Fachhochschule des Mittelstandes Bielefeld, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, Melanie has obtained various certifications, including being a Tea Champion from the UK Tea Academy in May 2022, a Professional Scrum Master and Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org in October 2020, and a Graphic Design Specialization from Coursera in September 2020.
