Milena Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Milena currently holds the position of Director Corporate Communications & Media Relations at Leaf Home since November 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Manager, Communications at Jungle Scout from November 2021 to November 2023. Milena also worked at Talkwalker as a Marketing Manager from June 2019 to November 2021, where they developed and executed marketing strategies and managed public relations campaigns. Before that, they held senior positions at Penguin Random House, Nosy Crow, Dentsu, HarperCollins Publishers, Rough Guides, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where they gained experience in digital communications, publicity, marketing, and public relations. In these roles, Milena demonstrated expertise in managing communications, securing media coverage, developing campaigns, and building brand awareness.

Milena Schmidt has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Comparative Literature from Barnard College. Additionally, they have completed the Yale Publishing Course with a focus on leadership strategies in book publishing at the Yale School of Management.
