Audra Floyd has extensive experience in the education sector. Audra is currently working as the Chief Academic Officer at Leadership Prep School since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Academics & Accountability for the same school from June 2022 to February 2023. Audra also held the position of Special Education Support from July 2021 to June 2022. Before joining Leadership Prep School, Audra was the Principal of the school from August 2016 to July 2021. Audra served as the Special Education Director & Assistant Principal from August 2014 to August 2016, and as a Special Education Teacher & Diagnostician from October 2011 to August 2014. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Special Education Teacher at Farmersville ISD from 2009 to 2011, and as an English Teacher at Northside ISD from 2008 to 2009. Audra began their teaching career as a Texas History Teacher at Little Elm Independent School District from 2006 to 2008.

Audra Floyd's education history begins in 2002 when they attended The University of Texas at Arlington and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2005. Audra then pursued further education at Dallas Baptist University, where they obtained a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from 2009 to 2011. Following this, Audra Floyd continued their education at Dallas Baptist University and completed a Master of Education degree in Special Education and Educational Leadership from 2011 to 2013.
