This means we’re thrilled to announce an opening for an M&A Manager to lead and drive our mergers and acquisitions initiatives.

What you can expect as our M&A Manager at LeadDesk
In your role you'll get to manage the entire M&A process:
- You'll be deal sourcing suitable M&A targets.
- You'll be handling negotiations related to deal structure, valuation, and legal documentation of the transactions.
- You'll be preparing relevant decision-making material such as valuation of targets, business case calculations, and investment presentations.
- You'll be managing deal stakeholders including the management team, board of directors, advisors, etc.
- You'll be conducting due diligence of relevant targets.
- You'll be overseeing integration project management.
Wha****t success looks like in this role in the first 6-12 months
- You have effectively and independently navigated and managed the various stages of the deal process.
- You have successfully closed at least one significant deal.
- You have demonstrated excellent collaboration and communication skills with key stakeholders.
This is where the match happens
Must-haves
- A Master’s degree in fields such as Economics or Engineering with outstanding academic performance.
- A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate strategy, business strategy, or financial investments.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual abilities, proficiency in financial modeling, and strategic analysis skills, along with the capacity to effectively communicate insights both verbally and through presentations.
- Highly structured and results-driven, with a high level of personal energy and excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across our international organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice-to-haves
- Background in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or similar corporate roles is advantageous.
- Proficiency in any additional European languages is a plus.
Practicalities
- Your location: Helsinki metropolitan area (Finland)
- Work permit in Finland
- Compensation: On-target earnings (OTE) of 80-100k annually, with a substantial portion derived from bonuses.
- Start date: The sooner, the better.
- Work model: Hybrid.
- Working hours: flexible.
- Employment: Full-time and permanent.
- The position will report to the CFO of LeadDesk.
