Akeen Smith is a seasoned Information Technology professional with extensive experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving software, hardware, and connectivity issues. Currently serving as a Senior Information Technology Specialist at Lawson Products since October 2018, Akeen supports desktops, laptops, and tablets within corporate headquarters and multiple distribution centers, while also assisting in the management of Exchange, Office 365, and Active Directory. Prior to this role, Akeen worked as an IT Tech Support Specialist at Lawson Products, a Helpdesk Technician at Sentinel Technologies, and gained foundational experience as an IT/Help Desk Intern at Barrington High School. Akeen began a career in customer service as a Sales Advisor at H&M. Akeen holds a High School Diploma from Larkin High School and completed studies at Computer Systems Institute.
