Joel Mertens has a strong background in the culinary industry, starting as a Cook at Pacific Coast Restaurant Group, LLC. Joel steadily moved up the ranks to become an Executive Chef at Prime Dine Restaurant Group and later a Vice President of Operations at X Group Restaurants. Currently, Joel serves as the Director Of Operations and Kitchen Manager at Lavish Roots Catering and Hospitality. Joel holds an Associates degree in Culinary Arts from Seattle Central College.
