Dr. Larry C Lands has extensive work experience in the medical field. Dr Larry C currently serves as the Chief Medical Advisor at Laurent Pharmaceuticals since January 2017. Previously, they held various roles at Cystic Fibrosis Canada, including Chair of the Research Advisory Committee and Vice Chair of the Scientific Advisory Council from February 2014 to February 2017. Dr Larry C also held the position of Chair of the Research Committee at the Canadian Thoracic Society starting May 2015. Dr. Lands was also involved in several committees and groups, such as the Chair of the Fellowship/Studentship Adjudication Committee at the Canadian Thoracic Society/Canadian Respiratory Research Network and a member of the Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Studies Group at the UK NIHR Medicines for Children Research Network. Dr Larry C has a long-standing affiliation with McGill University, where they currently serve as a Full Professor in Pediatrics and has conducted research on immune modulating capacities of pressurized whey and peripheral skeletal muscle performance in patients with Cystic Fibrosis and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Lands also served as the Director of Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at the McGill University Health Centre. Additionally, they held the position of Associate Director of the Respiratory Research Network at Fonds de la Recherche du Quebec en Sante from May 2015 to May 2020.

Dr Larry C first attended McGill University from 1974 to 1977, although the specific degrees or fields of study obtained during this time are unknown. Subsequently, they pursued their medical education at McGill University from 1977 to 1981, earning their MDCM degree in Medicine.
