Andrew McPhail has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Andrew began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as an Accountant and Senior Accountant before advancing to roles as Manager, Senior Manager, Director, and eventually Partner. In these positions, they were responsible for delivering audit and advisory services to national and multinational clients. From 2013 to 2014, McPhail worked as an Executive Audit Manager at Suncorp Group, where they focused on general insurance operations and provided industry guidance for areas under audit. Andrew then joined GE Capital as the Head of Internal Audit for Australia and New Zealand, as well as Internal Audit Leader for the Asia Pacific region. In this role, they oversaw the delivery of internal audit services to subsidiary and joint venture sites across Asia Pacific. Most recently, McPhail worked at Latitude Financial Services as the Divisional CFO for Group Finance, where they were responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the company.
Andrew McPhail's education history begins in 1993 when they enrolled at the University of Wollongong. Andrew pursued a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Accounting and successfully completed the program in 1995, achieving distinction. Following this, from 1994 to 1996, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, where they earned a Chartered Accountant degree.
