Abhinav Agarwalla is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in research and development across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Latitude AI since September 2024, Abhinav previously held senior research engineering roles at Neural Magic and Argo AI, demonstrating expertise in unsupervised learning and artificial intelligence. Abhinav introduced an optimal transport-based self-supervised paradigm for crowd counting during tenure at the Indian Institute of Science and has a strong foundation in machine learning applications, including a notable enhancement of Bing's local ranking algorithm at Microsoft. Additionally, Abhinav led an AI team in developing high-speed robotic strategies for soccer, achieving significant competitions successes. Abhinav's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and an Integrated Bachelor's and Master's in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
