Lindsay Dunham has been working in the field of public health since 2009. Lindsay began as a Teaching Assistant at Drake University Experiential Education Office in 2009, and then moved on to become a Research/Data Analyst Assistant at Mercy College of Health Sciences in 2011. In 2013, they were an Epidemiologist Intern at the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). In 2014, they became an Infection Preventionist at UnityPoint Health. After that, they were an Healthcare-Associated Infections Epidemiologist II at the Utah Department of Health in 2017. In 2018, they became an Infection Prevention Manager at St. Mark's Hospital. In 2019, they were an Infection Preventionist, Sr. at the University of Utah Health. Currently, they are a Public Health Data Analyst at Lantana Consulting Group and an Infection Prevention Consultant at Galileo Search, LLC.
Lindsay Dunham has a diverse educational background. Lindsay obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health Sciences - Pharmaceutical Science from Drake University from 2006 to 2011. Lindsay then went on to pursue a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Epidemiology from East Tennessee State University from 2011 to 2013. Most recently, they completed a Master of Science - MS in Data Analytics from Western Governors University in 2021. Lindsay also holds several certifications, including SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling from SAS in 2021, SAS Certified Specialist: Base Programming Using SAS 9.4 from SAS in 2021, Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate Certification from Tableau Software in 2020, Certification in Infection Control (CIC) from CBIC (Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc.) in 2017, and Certified in Infection Control (CIC®) from PCI Security Standards Council in 2017.
