Kristin B. Foster is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Principal of Lansing School District 158 since July 2022, with prior roles including Associate Principal at Park Forest School District #163 and various positions at Hazel Crest School District 152 1/2. Foster's teaching background includes positions as a Visual Art Teacher at Chicago Public Schools and a Graphic Arts & Computer Science Teacher at Urban Prep Academies, where curriculum development aligned with ISTE standards was a focus. Foster's extensive experience in managing educational programs includes overseeing CPS Community School initiatives and implementing impactful interventions to enhance student performance in elementary literacy. Foster holds a Master of Education in PK-12 Principal Preparation from Concordia University Chicago, as well as a Master of Teaching and a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
