Paulo Brás is a researcher at the Laboratório de Instrumentação e FÃsica Experimental de PartÃculas since August 2021, where the focus is on the simulation and modulation of backgrounds for the low-background dark matter experiment "Large Underground Xenon." Previously, from February 2014 to August 2014, Paulo Brás worked as an undergraduated student at the Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics - LIP. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics and a Master's Degree in Astrophysics and Space Instrumentation from Universidade de Coimbra, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics from the same institution.
