Colin MacGregor has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Colin started their career as a Tennis Instructor at Lake Shore Country Club, where they taught lessons and assisted in drills. Colin then interned at Frei Designs, Mary Katrantzou, and Levi Strauss & Co., gaining experience in design, production, and denim processes. Colin also worked as an English Teaching Assistant at the Fulbright Commission, teaching writing and conducting research on textiles and fashion. Colin later joined La Ligne as a Design and Production Assistant before moving on to Ralph Lauren, where they held roles as an Associate Concept Designer and Designer, focusing on activewear brands and special projects. Colin's most recent position was at La Ligne LLC, where they served as Head of Knitwear and is currently working as the Design Director. Throughout their career, Colin has showcased their skills in design, trend research, product sourcing, showroom management, accessory design, and collaboration with various teams.
Colin MacGregor pursued their education from 2009 to 2014, during which they attended two different institutions. At Brown University, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Economics. In parallel, they also studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Apparel Design.
