Deputy Director Information Technology at La Crosse County

Jeff Dietrich has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2021, they are currently serving as the La Crosse County IT Deputy Director. Prior to this, they worked as a Cyber Assessment Officer in the US Army Reserves from 2021 to 2023, where they supported cybersecurity engagement teams and assessed cybersecurity controls and strategies. In 2020, Jeff served in the US Army as the CONUS Replacement Center S6, responsible for unit intelligence operations, LAN configuration, and communication systems. Before joining the military, they worked as the Information Technology Infrastructure Manager at Ephrata National Bank from 2019 to 2021, where they formulated the bank's IT infrastructure strategic plan. Jeff also has experience as an Information Technology Help Desk Manager and Girls Volleyball Head Coach. Jeff served as the Director of the Northwest Wisconsin Volleyball Club from 2017 to 2019, and previously worked in roles such as Deputy Brigade S-6 in the US Army and Vice President of Peoples Bank Midwest. Jeff's work experience also includes roles in the Warwick School District and Northwest Regional Planning Commission.

Jeff Dietrich completed their Master of Arts degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Webster University in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Athletic Coaching from Millersville University of Pennsylvania between 2001 and 2003. In 2014, Jeff obtained an Economic Development Finance Professional Certification from NDC (National Development Council). Jeff studied Communications and Marketing at King's College from 1994 to 1997, and they also pursued Communications at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from 1992 to 1994. Jeff obtained a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) certification from Defense Acquisition University in 2018. In terms of additional certifications, they were awarded the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in December 2020 and the Economic Development Finance Professional (HDFP) certification from the National Development Council in May 2014.
