Alina Bokde has worked in various roles throughout their career. In 2006, they joined the City of Los Angeles and served on the Environmental Affairs Commission until February 2010. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as the Deputy Executive Officer at the Rivers and Mountains Conservancy. In 2009, they became the Executive Director at the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust and held this position until December 2016. Currently, since February 2017, they are serving as the Chief Deputy Director at the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation.
Alina Bokde earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Macalester College in 1992. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from The University of New Mexico, completing it in 2000.
