Christopher Schouten has a diverse work experience in marketing and leadership roles. Christopher is currently the Head of Marketing at Kudelski IoT, where they drive marketing strategy and execution for multiple lines of business. Prior to this, they were the Marketing Director at RecovR for Dealers. Christopher has also worked as a Les Mills BODYPUMP Tribe Coach at HDD GROUP and as a Group Fitness Instructor at Basic-Fit. Notably, they have held senior positions at Nagra, GlobalCollect, and Irdeto, where they led product marketing efforts, developed thought leadership materials, and managed marketing campaigns. In addition, Christopher has experience in service development and management at Telfort B.V. and in online knowledge management at Informaat B.V.
Christopher Schouten began their education at Roosevelt High School, where they studied Advanced Placement courses from 1983 to 1987. Christopher then enrolled at the University of Iowa and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communications, with a focus on Public Relations and Spanish. Christopher completed their degree from 1987 to 1991.
In 1990 and 1991, Christopher also obtained a Basque Studies/Basque Language B2.1 Diploma from Universidad del PaÃs Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, specializing in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics.
In 2013, Christopher attended Les Mills NLBE, where they earned the International BodyPump Instructor Certificate, AIM1, AIM2 Graduate. The following year, in 2014, they obtained the Les Mills BODYPUMP International Instructor's Certificate from Les Mills International.
In 2019, Christopher participated in an Executive Education program at INSEAD, focusing on Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption.
