Søren Skytte Asmussen is an experienced professional in education and social pedagogy, currently serving as an assistant professor and ekstern underviser at VIA University College since September 2010. Asmussen works as a udviklingskonsulent for Fonden Kanonen and has been a censor for den Ny pædagoguddannelse since November 2018, focusing on social and special pedagogy. Mentorship roles have been undertaken in exit programs for at-risk individuals within Kriminalforsorgen since August 2014. Asmussen held leadership positions, including viceområdechef for the special area of children and adolescents in Region Midtjylland, and led various projects aimed at supporting youth in transition. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Learning Processes with a specialization in Leadership and Organizational Psychology from Aalborg University, along with training in business coaching and process leadership.
