Mikhail Myagkikh currently serves as the Director of Quality & Risk Management at KPMG Canada, a position held since October 2022, following a brief tenure as QRM Director at KPMG in Central Asia. Previously, Mikhail accumulated extensive experience at KPMG Russia from November 2004 to September 2022, focusing on enhancing internal processes, reducing risk exposures, and elevating the value of risk management among stakeholders. Responsibilities included addressing independence issues, reviewing new services, conducting compliance and quality reviews, and overseeing the CIS cluster operations. Mikhail began their career as an audit assistant at FBK Grant Thornton. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Accounting and Statistics from Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation and ACCA certification.
