Dale Bradford

Gom, Vice President Operations at Kosmos Energy

Dale Bradford has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Dale started their career at BP in 1994 as a Senior Drilling Engineer, specializing in Gulf of Mexico shelf exploration and development. Dale later moved into the deepwater group, working on Amoco's Marlin Deepwater Development project.

In 2001, Dale joined BHP Billiton as a Drilling Superintendent, where they provided engineering and operational support for offshore wells, focusing on deepwater activities in the Gulf of Mexico and Australia. Dale was responsible for planning and overseeing multiple exploration and appraisal wells.

In 2007, Dale transitioned to Murphy Oil Corporation, taking on various leadership positions. Dale served as the General Manager for Southeast Asia Operations and oversaw production and drilling operations in the region, including the Kikeh Deepwater Development. Dale then became the General Manager for International Drilling, responsible for overseeing all Murphy drilling operations outside of North America.

Dale further progressed in their career at Murphy Oil Corporation, becoming the Vice President for Worldwide Drilling & Completions, where they had global oversight of all drilling and completions operations. Dale later became the Vice President for Worldwide Drilling & Services, leading the company's conventional and unconventional drilling activities.

In 2018, Dale was promoted to the role of Vice President for Western Hemisphere Offshore Operations, where they served as a business unit leader with profit and loss oversight for deepwater producing assets. Dale successfully led multidisciplinary Transition Teams for major Gulf of Mexico asset acquisitions, significantly increasing the business unit's production.

Currently, Dale Bradford holds the position of GOM Vice President Operations at Kosmos Energy, starting in 2023.

Dale Bradford obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 1989 and 1994. In 2014, Dale attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the Stanford Executive Program (SEP).
