Dave Costa has a strong background in electrical engineering with experience in both the private and defense sectors. Dave worked at Kopin Corporation from 1998, starting as an Electrical Engineer and progressing to the role of Senior Electrical Design Engineer. In this role, Dave was responsible for designing electronic driver boards for liquid crystal video displays, performing all phases of design including system architecture, circuit design, programming, PCB layout, debugging, and documentation.
Prior to their time at Kopin Corporation, Dave worked at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center from 1992 to 1998 as an Electronics Design Engineer. Dave held a top-secret clearance and was involved in designing digital and analog circuits for a prototype submarine sonar system. Dave'sresponsibilities included designing, building, and testing unique analog and digital electronic circuits for signal amplifiers, power envelope shaping, sonar signal generation and detection, noise generation, interface circuits, and beamforming. Dave also utilized OrCAD Express and MicroSim PSpice to design and simulate digital and analog circuits.
Overall, Dave Costa has a wealth of experience and expertise in electrical engineering, with a focus on designing complex electronic systems for both commercial and defense applications.
Dave Costa attended Northeastern University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1992. Prior to this, they also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Northeastern University in 1990.
