Rickard Hjelte has an extensive work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Media Markt, where they held the roles of Assisterande Avdelningschef / Inköpare - Datortillbehör and Butikssäljare - Dator/Datortillbehör. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Linnéuniversitetet as an Amanuens. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at Naviga Content Lab AB, where they held the roles of Senior Developer, Team Leader, and Web Developer. Currently, they are working at Kognity as a Software Engineer.

Rickard Hjelte attended John Bauergymnasiet from 2003 to 2006, studying IT-programmering. Rickard then attended Linnaeus University from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Kandidatexamen in Datorvetenskap.
