Job description

The Director of Transaction Services will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and development of our firm. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of professionals and providing strategic direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in securing and managing clients engagements, building productive client relationships, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.
  • Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives to expand the department's client base and service offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential client businesses.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and develop a talented team of professionals for your department.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management to team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.

Service Delivery:

  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive client solutions.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the department's budget.
  • Monitor profitability and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Industry Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to provide valuable insights to clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional designation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, and leadership.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex client engagements.
  • Ability to build and maintain new, strong client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
