Richard Croome has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Richard is currently the Director at Precision Properties Qld since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Humanities at King Henry VIII College Malaysia starting from March 2022.

Before that, Richard worked as a Geography, History, and Business Studies Teacher at Hay Al Sharooq International School (HASIS) in Oman from November 2020 to March 2022. Richard also held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Canada in Egypt from August 2019 to August 2021, and at the American University of Malta from January 2018 to July 2019.

Richard's professional journey also includes their role as an Academic Coordinator at the Higher Colleges of Technology from June 2013 to January 2018. Richard began their career as the Head of Humanities at Greenfield Community School in Dubai in August 2012, where they served until August 2013.

Richard Croome has a Bachelor's degree in Geography from The Australian National University, which they obtained between 1984 and 1987. In 1999 and 2000, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Newcatle, Australia. From 2001 to 2007, Richard completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Marketing / Economics from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Additionally, in 2008, they earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Southern Queensland.
