Gausal A. Khan, PhD, CSci, FRSM, FRSB, serves as a Professor at King Faisal University since March 2022 and has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Sciences and Technology Meghalaya since August 2014. Khan is a Fellow of both the Royal Society of Medicine (FRSM) and the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB) in the UK. Previous roles include Professor and Chartered Scientist at the Fiji School of Medicine from April 2017 to February 2022, and Senior Scientist at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) between February 2009 and October 2021. Additional postdoctoral experience was gained at the University of Western Ontario, Methodist Research Institute Inc, University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Karolinska Institutet. Khan earned a PhD in Physiology from Jadavpur University, and holds MSc and BSc degrees in Physiology from Calcutta University and University of Calcutta, respectively.
