Sarah Kennedy PhD is a qualified Application Specialist at Trinity Biotech since February 2022, with prior experience as a Field Application Specialist at bioMérieux from June 2019 to February 2022. Between June 2016 and June 2019, Sarah served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at RCSI, and previously held the role of Associate Lecturer at ITT Dublin from September 2015 to September 2016. Sarah's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology Research from Technological University Dublin, focused on the antibiotic resistance of bacterial biofilms, and an honors degree in Bioanalysis. Key research accomplishments include establishing a bacterial biofilm model at The Hospital for Sick Children to study antimicrobial treatments for Cystic Fibrosis pathogens. Sarah has also gained teaching experience through various posts involving lecturing and supervising laboratory sessions throughout their academic career.
