John Gardner has a wide range of work experience. John began their career in 2006 as an Intern in the Budget Office of the New York City Economic Development Corporation. In 2007, they were an Intern at Monitor Group, and in 2008 they were promoted to Senior Consultant. In 2012, they were a Summer Associate at C3 AI, where they worked on energy efficiency projects and helped craft and implement consumer marketing strategies. In 2013, they were a Consultant at Bain & Company. From 2015-2019, they were SVP at BuildZoom, where they managed a team of 65 and was responsible for product and growth. Most recently, they are Co-Founder and CEO of Kickoff, a remote personal training platform that aims to put a dent in the global obesity epidemic.
John Gardner completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics and American John'story at Columbia University between 2004 and 2008. John then went on to receive their Master of Business Administration from Dartmouth College between 2011 and 2013. John also attended The Lovett School. In October 2017, John obtained a certification as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
