Peter Leyden is a founder and keynote speaker with extensive experience in strategic foresight, media, and technology. Currently, Leyden leads Reinvent Futures, a company dedicated to helping individuals understand and shape the future. As a keynote speaker through Keppler Speakers, Leyden discusses global trends, technological impacts, and future possibilities. Previous roles include hosting virtual salons for The Long Now Foundation, serving as Senior Fellow for Strategic Foresight at Autodesk, and founding media companies such as Reinvent Inc. and Next Agenda. Leyden also co-founded the New Politics Institute and was a Network Director at Global Business Network, where expertise in strategic foresight was developed. Leyden's early career featured significant roles at Wired Magazine and co-authoring "The Long Boom" with Peter Schwartz. Leyden holds advanced degrees from Columbia University and a BA from Georgetown University.
