Andrew Dickinson has extensive work experience in the railway industry. Andrew is currently serving as the Service Delivery Director at KeolisAmey Docklands since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at South Western Railway as the Head of Train Service Delivery from April 2019 to February 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at Great Western Railway (GWR), including Head of Train Service Delivery, LTV Route Performance Manager, and Regional Performance Manager East, from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, Andrew has worked at First Great Western as the Interim Regional Station and Revenue Protection Manager in 2015 and as the Performance Delivery Manager, Station Manager in Slough, and Customer Information During Disruption Implementation Manager from 2006 to 2014. Andrew started their career as a Firstgroup Graduate Trainee in 2006.

Andrew Dickinson attended Lancaster Royal Grammar School from 1996 to 2003. Andrew then went on to study at the University of Leicester from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a BA in Geography. Afterward, Andrew pursued their Railway Operations BSc at Glasgow Caledonian University, which they completed between 2009 and 2012.
