Doris Barnert is an experienced financial and corporate governance professional, currently serving as a member of the board of directors at skyguide since May 2020 and as CFO and Head of Corporate Services at Swissgrid AG since April 2017. Prior to these roles, Doris held the position of CFO at Solothurner Spitäler AG from December 2008 to March 2017, and various leadership roles at SBB CFF FFS between October 2001 and November 2008, focusing on finance and project management within infrastructure. Doris began their career as an architect at various architectural firms from 1996 to 2001. Educational qualifications include a Corporate Governance certificate from the University of St. Gallen, a MAS in Corporate Finance from the Institut für Finanzdienstleistungen Zug, an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen, and a degree in Architecture from ETH Zürich.
