Angela Deckard is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Branch Librarian with a focus on adult services at Kent District Library since August 2017. Prior roles at the library include Adult Services Librarian, Patron Services Associate, and Circulation Assistant. Angela's background also includes work as a Support Editor at CallStreet and a Scriptwriter at Dynamic Captioning, LLC, both from June 2016 to August 2018, where responsibilities involved transcribing and editing documents for Fortune 500 companies. Angela holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Grand Valley State University.
