Majid Al Nakeeb has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Starting in 2021, they are currently serving as the Head of R&D (CDMO) at KD Pharma Group (UK). Prior to this, they worked at Iksuda Therapeutics from 2016 to 2020, where they held the positions of Chemistry Team Leader and Senior Development Chemist. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Merck Millipore (UK) as a Development Laboratory Chemist in the Process Engineering Team. Before that, they gained experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Newcastle University from 2011 to 2013 and at the University of Manchester in 2010. Majid began their career as a Senior IT tutor at Manchester International College from 2002 to 2006.

Majid Al Nakeeb obtained a PhD in Chemical Biology from The University of Manchester, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Majid also has additional certifications, including being a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, which they obtained in 2021, and certifications in Strategic Planning and Powder Handling Glovebox acquired in 2021 and 2017 respectively. Majid also completed a certification in The Effective Team Leader/Supervisor in 2017.
