Alex Cotterill has a diverse background in biotechnology and laboratory operations, currently serving as a Production Technologist and Research Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since July 2022, with a focus on cell line development and mammalian cell culture. Prior experience includes a role as an Amplitude Operator Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific from September 2021 to July 2022, where responsibilities involved supporting lab automation and facilitating customer training for COVID-19 testing solutions. Alex Cotterill holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Newcastle University (2017-2020) and a Postgraduate Degree in Regenerative Medicine & Stem Cells, as well as Genetic Medicine & Applied Immunobiology of Human Disease from Newcastle University (2020-2021).
