Brock M. has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as an Analyst at Ross Smith Energy Group. At this role, they primarily focused on institutional equity research analysis, financial modeling, and investment analysis. Brock then joined the National Crowdfunding Association of Canada in 2013 as a Board Member, where they contributed to the association's activities until 2015.

In 2011, Brock became the Chief Executive Officer of JOI Media Inc., an award-winning software development firm. Brock specialized in developing enterprise software for optimizing daily operations and driving profitability. Alongside this, they also provided custom software development services. Brock'stime at JOI Media concluded in 2015.

Brock's most recent role was at Katipult, where they started in 2014 as the CEO. Brock led the company in providing a proprietary cloud-based software infrastructure for digitizing and automating private placements. This software aimed to eliminate transaction redundancy, enhance investor experience, and accelerate deal flow. In January 2020, Brock transitioned to the position of Head of Global Development at Katipult.

Throughout their career, Brock has gained expertise in software development, equity research analysis, financial modeling, investment analysis, and leadership roles such as CEO and Board Member.

Brock M. began their education at the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in 2005, where they specialized in Investments and Securities. Brock then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance at the University of Calgary from 2003 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, Brock M. attended the CFA Institute from 2007 to 2009 to further enhance their knowledge in Investment Analysis & Asset Management.
