Allen Avery has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Allen is currently the Senior Director of Finance at Kaleido. Prior to this role, they had a significant tenure at McClatchy, where they held various positions, including VP of Strategic Planning & Analysis and Sr. Director of Corporate Strategy & Analysis. Allen also served as the Sr. Director of Strategy & Analytics and Director of Digital Product and Technology Strategy at McClatchy. Before joining McClatchy, Allen worked as the VP of Finance at Digital Turbine, where they played a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, and corporate development. Allen started their career as the Director of Finance at Appia and also gained experience as a Business Consultant at Hill Climber Consulting. Allen holds an MBA degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they focused on finance and entrepreneurship. Prior to pursuing their MBA, they worked as a Producer at Super-Ego Games and as a Professional Services representative at LivePerson. Allen began their career as a Quality Analyst at J&W Seligman and as a Quality Assurance Representative at MFS Investment Management.

Allen Avery completed their Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Virginia from 1991 to 1995. Allen later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance & Entrepreneurship at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2007 to 2009.
