Dr. Martin Hofmann is an experienced legal professional and current Richter am Landessozialgericht at Hessisches Landessozialgericht since August 2020, where also serves as IT-Referent for the introduction of eAkte in the judiciary. Additionally, Dr. Hofmann is a member of the hessischen Richterwahlausschusses since September 2023 and a co-author of the Juris-Praxiskommentar ERV at juris GmbH. Previous roles include serving as Richter am Sozialgericht in Gießen and Marburg, and holding positions such as Referatsleiter and Referent at Hessisches Ministerium für Soziales und Integration. Dr. Hofmann has experience in managing personnel as Justiziar and Personalleiter at Polizei Hessen and has taught as a lecturer at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. Dr. Hofmann's educational background includes a law degree with a focus on health law qualifications from The Philipp University of Marburg and Justus Liebig University Giessen, complemented by an exchange semester at the University of Lausanne.
