Deepak Vinchhi has a strong work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 1995, they founded Aquila Technologies, a company specializing in product engineering services, which grew to more than 525 employees and was later acquired by HCL Technologies in 2005. In 2006, Deepak founded nineMotion Systems and served as CEO until 2008. Deepak then joined Sterling Commerce as Managing Director for their Indian operations, leading a team of over 650 people delivering products to global customers. In 2011, Deepak joined IBM as Director & Head of Industry Solutions Products Portfolio, managing a global portfolio of enterprise software products. In 2015, they co-founded JuliaHub, a software-as-a-service platform for developing Julia programs. More recently, in 2019, Deepak became a Director on the Board of Pumas-AI, Inc., a joint venture between Julia Computing and the University of Maryland at Baltimore, focusing on pharmaceutical modeling and simulation.
Deepak Vinchhi has a degree in B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Deepak also holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. No specific start or end years are provided for either degree.
