Marina Leite Pimentel PhD, MSc, MFD RCSI, DDS has extensive work experience in the field of dentistry. In 2000, they began their career as an Associated Partner and Dentist (Prosthodontist) at Denclin Odontologia. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Auxiliar Professor in Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry at Universidade Camilo Castelo Branco - Unicastelo. In 2013, they were an Associated Coordinator of Master Course in Implant Dentistry at APCD São José dos Campos. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Trinity College Dublin. Currently, they are the Editor-in-Chief for the Dental Section and Impact Team for EU/LATAM at JOMI Surgical Video Journal.
Marina Leite Pimentel holds a PhD from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in the Departament of Surgery, Traumatology and Maxillofacial Prosthetics (2014-2017). Marina also completed a Split Fellowship at FOCAS Research Institute of Dublin Institute of Technology in Dublin, Ireland for Nanotechnology (2015-2016). Marina has a MSc in Prosthodontics from UNITAU - Universidade de Taubaté (2003-2005), and a COAT - Centro de Oclusão e Disfunção Temporomandibular from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho in Occlusion, Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain (2001-2005). Marina Leite Pimentel also holds a DDS from Universidade Estadual de Campinas in Dentistry (1997-2000), and a High School degree from Instituto São José (1987-1996). In addition, they completed a course in Information Technology at ETEP (1994-1995) and is a Maxillofacial Prosthetics Volunteer at UNIVAP in Prótese Bucomaxilofacial (2012-Present).
