Melinda Kujawa began their work experience in 2001 as a Head Teacher/Assistant Director at the Academy of Early Learning, where they stayed until 2005. Melinda then worked at the Bedford Child Development Center from 2008 to 2013, again as a Head Teacher/Assistant Director. In 2013, they joined Pontoon Solutions as a Recruiter and remained with the company until 2021. Currently, they are employed at Job.com as a Senior Recruiter, supporting Allison Transmission. In this role, they are responsible for identifying, screening, and assessing potential candidates. Additionally, Melinda has provided training to incoming recruiters and sourcing specialists on the company's ATS full cycle process.

Melinda Kujawa has a strong educational background. Melinda attended Maumee High School from 1985 to 1989. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Eastern Michigan University, where they enrolled from 1989 to 1993. During their time there, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.

In addition to their formal education, Melinda also possesses a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification. Melinda obtained this certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in November 2019.
