Taavi Kotka is an experienced entrepreneur and leader in the technology and digital sectors, currently serving as CEO and Co-Founder of KOOS.io since April 2022, where the focus is on transforming business-community interactions. As the Head of the Jio Research Center in Estonia since April 2018, Taavi also founded Proud Engineers in February 2017 and leads the Estonian e-residency program council for Enterprise Estonia. From April 2015 to October 2018, Taavi served as a Special Advisor to the European Commission's Vice President Andrus Ansip, focusing on Digital Single Market issues. Previously, Taavi held roles such as Deputy Secretary General for ICT at Estonia's Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and was involved in early-stage investments with SmartCap. Taavi's educational background includes a Master of Science in Engineering from Tallinn University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Tartu.
