Dayne Batten has a wealth of work experience. From 2010 to 2018, they worked in various roles for seven different companies. In 2010, they served as a Research Fellow for Grove City College. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Non-public Education Research Intern for the North Carolina Department of Administration, a Financial and Business Services Intern for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and a Research Assistant for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2013, they were a Research and Evaluation Specialist for the North Carolina Department of Commerce. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Senior Data Scientist for Republic Wireless and Relay, where they designed, tested, and refined machine learning models, leveraged linear programming techniques, used natural language processing and LSTM neural networks, applied GIS technologies, and built an interactive reporting tool.
Dayne Batten completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Public Policy Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Sociology, Entrepreneurship, and Communications from Grove City College in 2011.
