Janet Vierling is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in refugee and youth services. Currently serving as the Refugee Mental Health Clinical Supervisor at Jewish Family Service of Colorado since September 2016, Janet supervises a team of clinicians while providing mental health therapy and case management to refugees. Previously, Janet held positions as a Refugee Mental Health Specialist and Intensive Case Manager at the same organization, focusing on stabilizing refugees and asylees facing various challenges. Janet's earlier roles include Senior Director of Programs at The Adoption Exchange and Therapist/Case Manager at Denver Area Youth Services, providing therapeutic and case management support to youth in foster and pre-adoptive placements. Janet holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver.
