Emily Umile is an experienced educator with a diverse background in science teaching and lifeguarding. Currently serving as a Science Educator Participant at Green Tree Foundation since July 2024, Emily previously worked as an Ocean Lifeguard at Fire Island National Seashore and held multiple teaching roles in various school districts, including Jericho School District as a Chemistry Teacher. Emily has also contributed to educational initiatives as a Science Teacher at Fusion Academy and has experience in student teaching. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Adolescent Education Biology from Molloy University and additional certifications in Chemistry and Special Education. Emily's teaching approach emphasizes technology integration and differentiated instruction to support diverse student needs and interests.
