Karyn Sawyer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in atmospheric research and science support, currently serving as the Director of the Joint Office for Science Support at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research since August 2011. Prior to this role, Karyn held various positions within the same organization from June 1981 to 2010, including Assistant Director of the Earth Observing Laboratory and earlier as Director of the Joint Office for Science Support. Karyn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1965 and 1969.
