Vijay Rao currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Radiology and Imaging at Jefferson Health, a position held since January 2017. Additionally, Vijay Rao has been a Professor and Chair of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University since July 2002. Vijay Rao also held the role of President of the Radiologic Society of North America from December 2017 to December 2018. Educationally, Vijay Rao received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, graduating in 1973.
