David Banks is an experienced educational leader with a career spanning several roles in West Virginia schools. Currently serving as the Deputy Superintendent for Instructional Support at Jefferson County Schools since July 2021, Banks previously held the position of Assistant Superintendent at Berkeley County Schools from August 2017 until February 2024, and Superintendent of Schools at Morgan County Schools from 2007 to February 2024. Banks holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching, both obtained from West Virginia University.
